SA Hyundai Excel Rally Series

Hi All,

Just to let you know that the SA Hyundai Rally Series is on again this year with the upcoming Autocross Champs forming Round 1. With a bit of luck our car will be back looking straighter than ever! (Tip: dont hit the banks sideways at Walky Park!)

If anyone has any queries, questions, comments or is interested at all in the series and what the cars are like etc. Please dont hesitate to give me a call on 0410 442 012. Info can also be found at www.excelrally.com.au and I have attached a copy of the National Series Regs to this post. We are up to well over 20 cars running nationally now with multiple cars in Qld, NSW and Vic and one each in both SA and Tasmania with a friendly bunch of competitors quite willing to share technical and setup information to help out the newcomers. Parts and panels are also available direct from Hyundai with a generous discount

I am also hoping to be able to announce some series sponsorship news in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

Cheers,

David Marriner

Hyundai's for sale.

Hi Brooke,

They certainly are a great way to get started in rallying. Not only are they a cheap car to purchase but parts are really cheap and easy to find as well. The place I have found the most come up for sale is at the Brindabella Club's forum at www.bmsc.com.au

All the best and hope to see you out having fun in the forest soon.

If you are willing to travel, there are afew up for grabs on the east coast, along with cheap parts. $30 bonnets anyone, or $70 rally rims.

East Coast mainly.
There have been a few for sale in recent months.
Parts are cheap, noting a new bonnet was available from mick at Hyundai in NSW for approx $30.
Have a look at BMSC.COM.AU and their for sale section. In particular rally cars.
