Walky Park Trophy Day Series Round 2

The second round of the 2011 Walky Park Trophy Day Series is on this coming Saturday the 7th of May. Like the first round, this event will also run under a permit issued by AASA (Australian Auto-Sport Alliance). The event will be a day/night (twilight) event with entries opening at 2:00 pm and competition starting at 3:00 pm. It is expected the event will finish somewhere between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

We have managed to reduce the entry fee for Walky members to $60. We have also managed to get approval for 14 year olds to run as co-drivers but, unfortunately, the insurance won't allow them to run as drivers.

We are not be able to sell CAMS licenses on the day. You will be able to buy a AASA Club license for $50 that will be valid for 12 months and can be used at the rest of the Walky Park events or any other AASA event you want to do. If you hold a valid and current CAMS L2S license (or higher) we will accept that too. If you plan on doing CAMS events throughout the year, and don't yet have a valid and current CAMS competition license, and don't want to buy a AASA Club license, then it is up to you to sort out obtaining a CAMS license before Saturday. Go into the CAMS office, hassle the Melbourne office, whatever it takes but we will not be able to help you on the day.

Supp Regs, Entry Forms and AASA licence applications are on the Walky website: http://www.wacc.asn.au/Events/TrophySeries/default.asp. It will be very helpful if you can print and complete your entry forms/licence applications before you arrive at Walky Park.

If you’re not competing and can help on the day (timing, observers, etc), even for a couple of hours, we would be very grateful.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
