alpinestars on board to partner the 2011 asp Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally

The 2011 asp Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally are thrilled to announce that alpinestars and their South Australian representative, Emporium Sales & Marketing have joined the team to provide apparel to both the competitors and officials of the event.

The association provides the perfect opportunity to promote the alpinestars brand to the South Australian market through such a well-respected South Australian motorsport event as the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally.

The partnership will also benefit the 2011 asp Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally, as alpinestars standing as a well-regarded and high profile motorsport centric apparel group will enhance the profile and quality of the event with competitors, officials and the general public.

Apparel supplied by the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally organising committee to officials and competitors in previous years continues to be worn at other motorsport events and out in public; the various polo shirts, jackets, jumpers, caps and shirts that have been in circulation since 2006, the events inception, are still being seen out and about in 2011. This fact has been highly relevant to both alpinestars and Emporium Sales & Marketing in their decision to partner with the 2011 asp Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally as it virtually guarantees that their commitment will provide value with the ongoing visibility of their supplied apparel in the years to come.

Michael Lamprell, director of Emporium Sales & Marketing and South Australian distributor of alpinestars, has been a competitor in the last few runnings of the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally in his beautifully prepared Red/Gold Striped Mustang. For the 2011 asp Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally, the organising committee will provide all event competitors (driver and co-driver) an alpinestars event cap and all event officials a quality alpinestars tee-shirt, thanks to the support that both alpinestars and Emporium Sales & Marketing have shown.

The 2011 Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally will be presenting 28 stages over 3 days, delivering almost 190 competitive kilometres. Friday will start with the prologue at Collingrove, followed by 6 stages that will head towards Penny’s Hill Winery at McLaren Vale through the magnificent Adelaide Hills. Saturday’s 12 stages will be run just south of McLaren Vale down to Victor Harbor, South Australia’s holiday capital and the events service park location for the day. Another 10 stages on Sunday will take place north west of McLaren Vale, travelling through the picturesque towns of Meadows, Macclesfield (location of the Sunday service park) and Strathalbyn before returning to McLaren Vale in the late afternoon to complete the event at Penny’s Hill Winery.

Entries have officially opened with the release of Supplementary Regulations.

The 2011 Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally has been scheduled for the 27th through to the 29th of May.
