Pure Motorsport Launch Public Beta of New Video Sharing Web Site

Pure Motorsport Team Principal Ryan Jones at Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA with partner Pedders

Today Pure Motorsport is proud to announce the launch of the public beta of PureMotorsport.TV Version 2, www.puremotorsport.tv.

Version 1 was developed specifically to host videos produced for the 2009 Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA, and proved highly successful in becoming one of the most visited rally web sites in Australia. However we had a lot of feedback asking for new features that allow for a higher level of user-friendliness and interactivity.

PureMotorsport.TV Version 2 is the culmination of 12 months of research and development, users’ feedback and the Pure Motorsport team’s experience gained while providing media coverage for previous events.

From the get-go, the vision for the new web site has been developed so as to encourage competitors to upload and share their own videos, as well as allow Pure Motorsport to publish its footage. Now you can share those long stages and races with the world. Our new web site is capable of storing much longer videos than other video sharing sites. It also allows users to import videos from the popular video sharing web site YouTube.com, and to embed these videos in their own web sites.

Feedback is very important to the Pure Motorsport team, and that is why the decision was made to launch the new web site as a public beta. Our visitors have been great supporters, and we feel that with their input, the new site will flourish into a vibrant online motorsport community.

PureMotorsport.TV version 2 launches with higher quality versions of all the videos from our Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA coverage, and features never before seen videos, such as coverage of the Angaston Simulator Shootout, pitting Eli Evans against Ryan Schembri from our partners OzRacingWrap on Mitsubishi Lancer rally simulators.

The first event to be covered on the new web site will be the 2009 Yokohama Alpine Rally, from Lakes Entrance November 12 – 15 thanks to Koni Suspension. Pure Motorsport is currently undergoing negotiations with a number of other motorsport categories for 2009/2010.
