It's a family affair!

in
Mt Alma Mile

A passion for motorsport is often a result of family influence, and at the grass roots level, it is apparent just by looking at the entry list of the 2011 asp Mount Alma Mile. 15 South Australian families will have 2 or more members competing up the gruelling 19% slope at the event, to be held on the 2nd & 3rd of April in the Hindmarsh Valley.

3 Generations of the Day family will be competing over the weekend; Tony Day in his Saleen Mustang, with his son Sean and 16 year old grandson Daniel sharing a Subaru WRX STi.

SA's biggest hillclimb is back!

in
Mt Alma Mile

2011 will be the third running of the asp Mount Alma Mile Hillclimb, held over 2 days each April in the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula district of Hindmarsh Valley.

The 1.6km track is the longest currently being used in SA, and plays host to SA’s largest hill climbing field at 150 competitors. In the first two years, organisers were forced to turn hopeful competitors away due to filling the field before entries officially closed.

2011 Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally and 2011 Mount Alma Mile to support Variety SA

Variety

Today, the 2011 Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally (AHTR) organising committee is very proud to announce that it will be supporting Variety SA and their unwavering dedication to inspiring hope and enriching the lives of children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs who are under the age of 18.

With the successes that were achieved over the last few years in having a dedicated charity supported by the AHTR, we look forward to working with the various SA Variety Bash teams and aiding them so that they can continue to achieve great things.
