2008 CAMS Junior Driver Development Program squad announced

Following a flood of nominations from all disciplines of motor sport, the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd (CAMS) has announced the CAMS Junior Driver Development Program squad members for 2008.

Five of Australia's most promising young motor sport competitors have been selected to attend a specialist training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) later this month.

Historic Rally Group

Recently I become aware of a groundswell of interest in this state for historic gravel rallying. There are already a number of cars that would fall into the category historic although strictly speaking the CAMS manual definition classifies them as series production before 1 January 1968 (Category 1), 1 January 1976 (Category 2), 1 January 1981 (Category 3).

Thousands Log On For Australian Rallying History

Australian Rallying history was made at the recent Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA, when for the first time SARally.com.au in conjunction with Fernwood Estate Bed and Breakfast and Subareck broadcast the all the action live through the internet.

While SA Rally TV was not without technical issues, by Saturday night the broadcast was running smoothly and rally enthusiasts from all over Australia and New Zealand tuned in to watch the action from the Angaston Super Special Stage and join in a rigorous and entertaining chat session.
